Malaika and Kelsey had their very first ski race during our skiing trip to Serfaus.  Well, it is not really a real race.  Normally people go on ski course for a week and there is a race at the end of the course. We didn’t want to pay for private ski lesson since both kids were not of the same level, meaning we had to pay for 2 private instructors.  Anyway, they didn’t race well.  For Malaika, I know she could do better, I suppose she just didn’t know what was going on. She looked a bit lost.

So when it came to distribution of medals, I was so surprised to see that Kelsey was on 3rd place. Ha! He was so proud and happy. Well, it didn’t mean anything. I think there were only 4 children in his age group. As for Malaika, of course she wasn’t in the top 3. I think there were about 7-8 kids in her group. Everybody was the winner. Everybody was given a medal and some small tokens.
